The great part is, you don't have to select a particular theme but can create an event that incorporates your favorite colors along with some of the event accents mentioned below. Event Accents:Fireworks over the event lawn, belly dancers, henna tattoo artists, caricature artists, Bubble Machines, Confetti Canons, Balloon Drops, DJ, Live Music, Comedians, Magicians, high-end Specialty Entertainers, Karaoke, Paparazzi Photographers, Chocolate Fondue Fountains, Wardrobe Changing Room, specialty linens and lighting, lit dance floor, custom pastries and cakes made by our Pastry Chef. Event Planning Tips: To begin, you will want to review our event floor plans to see which rooms may work best for your party based on the number of guests you are planning for. Gather a list of ideas of things you would like to have at your party as well as a list of personal likes i.e. favorite colors, patterns, flowers. Contact our Catering & Conference Services Team to check availability of our ballrooms and The Lodge retreat 704-248-4035 or send your request online. At that time they can discuss minimum spend requirements for our event facilities and arrange a time for you to tour the event space best suited for your party. Event Space Options: Ballantyne Ballroom, this spacious & elegant event room is the largest at Ballantyne Resort. Adjacent to the grand staircase, the Ballantyne Ballroom can accommodate up to 400 guests for a dinner setup. Fairway Ballroom, the second largest event room at Ballantyne Resort, offers expansive views of the resort from the 2nd floor clubhouse windows, a stunning view day & night. Fairway Ballroom can accommodate up to 180 for a dinner setup. Union and York Located below the Grand Staircase, Union and York event rooms offer beautiful event space, reception kiosk at the base of the grand staircase and additional outdoor event terrace. Union and York both provide flexibility and are perfect for smaller gatherings. Union accommodates up to 80 in a dinner setup and York up to 50. The kiosk and patio can also be contracted as additional event space. Ballantyne Event Lawn This outdoor event space has lovely views of the resort and 18th Fairway. The event lawn is perfect for outdoor dinners under the stars or it can be tented for indoor/outdoor events. It can accommodate up to 200 for dinner or 300 for reception style setup. The Lodge is truly a unique location, unlike any other facility in the region. Casual yet sophisticated, The 40,000 sq ft Lodge can adapt to any of your preferred design elements. The Lodge offers event space on two floors, outdoor event space, gorgeous views of the resort and 35 guest rooms.
