Express your creativity. Event rooms at Ballantyne Resort can adapt to any design elements that you want to incorporate. Our catering team can work with your designer or offer assistance to help you create a memorable and unique event. Additionally, we can assist you with resources ranging from fireworks over the event lawn to A list entertainers.

Brides often select Ballantyne Resort because they are looking for more than just a wedding reception. They like the convenient amenities that their wedding party can enjoy on property. We can arrange a golf outing for the wedding party, rehearsal dinners, spa wedding day preparations, receptions and a departure brunch.

Where Should I Begin?
We recommend that you first make an appointment to view our event rooms. During your appointment, our Catering Managers can review your preliminary ideas and give you the estimated minimum expenses for each event room. They can also give you resources for additional wedding vendors that you may need during your planning process. We also recommend that you have at least three possible dates in mind as our larger ballrooms and The Lodge get soldout quickly for weekends. 704-248-4035 Catering & Conference Services Department

Wedding Event Space Options:

Ballantyne Ballroom, this spacious & elegant event room is the largest at Ballantyne Resort. Adjacent to the grand staircase, the Ballantyne Ballroom can accommodate up to 400 guests for a dinner setup.

Fairway Ballroom, the second largest event room at Ballantyne Resort, offers expansive views of the resort from the 2nd floor clubhouse windows, a stunning view day & night. Fairway Ballroom can accommodate up to 180 for a dinner setup.

Union and York
Located below the Grand Staircase, Union and York event rooms offer beautiful event space, reception kiosk at the base of the grand staircase and additional outdoor event terrace. Union and York both provide flexibility and are perfect for smaller gatherings. Union accommodates up to 80 in a dinner setup and York up to 50. The kiosk and Terrace can also be contracted as additional ceremony or reception space.

Ballantyne Event Lawn
This outdoor event space has lovely views of the resort and 18th Fairway. The event lawn is perfect for outdoor weddings and/or receptions. It can accommodate up to 200 for dinner or 300 for reception style setup.

The Lodge is truly a unique wedding ceremony and/or reception location, unlike any other facility in the region. Casual yet sophisticated, The 40,000 sq ft Lodge can adapt to any of your preferred design elements. The Lodge offers event space on two floors, outdoor event space, gorgeous views of the resort and 35 guest rooms. The daily rental of the lodge includes the entire facility and delivers an exclusive feel.

What our brides like most
about The Lodge:

-The privacy. Only one group can contract the lodge at a time so your group is promised complete exclusivity.

-The wedding party or your requested friends and family can all stay in the lodge guest rooms with additional rooms reserved at the resort. All Lodge guest rooms have jacuzzi jetted tubs, with the exception of a few accessible adapted rooms.

-The grand entrance of the Timbers room has vaulted pine ceilings with a large stone fireplace. This social area can be used for additional pre-reception or reception space. The loft on the 2nd floor offers chess tables, pool tables and flat screen TV. Timbers can accommodate 80 for dinner or 100 for reception style.

-The retreat event room on the lower level has an outdoor patio that leads to the back lawn with stunning views of the resort. It can accommodate 120 for dinner inside.

-The Lodge is a short walking distance to the resort, located adjacent to the first fairway.
