Our Spa services are very popular and we strongly recommend that appointments be made as far in advance as possible, in order to ensure time and technician availability. Please make your requests for male or female therapists and specific service providers at the time of making your reservation. All spa services must be secured with a credit card. Your credit card will be charged for the full cost of your service if you fail to appear for your appointment or if you should forget to check out before departing.

Facility Use:
The Spa facilities include: men’s and women’s locker rooms, steam, sauna, relaxation lounge, refreshment area and complimentary use of a spa robe and sandals for those having spa services (not provided for salon services). The indoor pools, hot tub and fitness facilities are not part of the Spa, but are available to our day guests for a $15 charge. Complimentary use of spa facilities, indoor pools and fitness facilities Monday through Thursday. •Hotel Guests without any spa appointments: $15 to use the spa facilities based on occupancy levels and availability

Cancellations:
Your spa time is held exclusively for you and your service provider. For this reason, we must enforce an 8-hour cancellation policy for all a la carte treatments and a 24-hour cancellation for packages. Failure to cancel appointments will result in being charged in full. For cancellations made within 8 hours of appointment time, a same day cancellation fee of $20 per appointment applies.

Service Charge:
Our goal is to ensure that we fulfill your every wish and request for a comfortable and satisfying experience. For your convenience, a 20% service charge will be added to all a la carte spa and salon services. 15% goes directly to your service provider. Should you wish to adjust that amount based on the level of service received, simply inform the front desk at time of checkout. In appreciation of outstanding service, additional gratuities may be given at your discretion.

Massage Notice:
Please inform our reception desk if you are pregnant. You must be past the thirteenth week of pregnancy to receive a massage or body treatment.

Our Guests:
The Spa at Ballantyne is an adult enclave, therefore guests must be 16 years of age or older to enjoy any of our services. Children are not permitted to accompany adults who are here receiving services.

Arrive in Advance:
To allow time to change and prepare for your appointment, please arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your service. As a courtesy to our guests, all appointments begin and end on time. Unfortunately late arrivals will not receive an extension of treatment time and are charged full treatment price.

For Your Comfort:
Robes, sandals, a private locker and a complete array of toiletries are provided for use during spa treatments. THE SPA IS A SMOKE AND CELL PHONE FREE FACILITY. To ensure the enjoyment of all our guests, you will be required to turn your cellular phone off upon arrival and leave it off for the duration of your visit. The Spa reserves the right to refuse service to those who choose not to comply.

For Your Privacy:
Our therapists are trained to drape you discreetly and professionally and to respect your privacy at all times, therefore only the portion of your body that is being treated will be exposed. While it is customary for guests to completely disrobe for spa services, you should undress to your comfort level and may keep your undergarments on if you prefer.

Personal Possessions:
Although a locker will be provided for your use, we request that you leave your valuables at home or in your hotel room safe. THE SPA AT BALLANTYNE RESORT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS.

For Your Safety:
Please be sure to inform us when making your appointments if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, heart ailments, cancer, or any condition that may be contraindicated for heat therapies, massage or skin care. We highly discourage alcohol consumption prior to, during or immediately following Spa treatments. Please avoid immediate sun exposure following skin care treatments.
